IRS Help was instrumental in solving a decades long effort with the MA DOR who are about as tough as it gets to settle anything with. Jim Rindfleisch is the person with whom I received excellent support and communication along the way. Jim is on top of every chess move possible as this case was one for the history books. I settled with the IRS some 20 years ago on a case that seemed insurmountable at the time, mercifully settled by Jim so many years ago. The State component lingered along for over 20 years as these folks will not settle, but are seemingly quite pleased to saddle folks with a monthly deduct - which nearing retirement I wanted to close out if possible. There was only one choice for me, give Jim a call to see if there was any possible legal angle to closing this out once and for all. Jim remembered me as if it was yesterday, and with his straightforward Buffalo style he gave me some ideas he just might be able to argue with the DOR. I did not think this was achievable at first, as negotiating with these government types is really hit or miss. Initially they would not budge and Jim let me know he would try another tact. The wait was not an easy one in the interim but Jim kept me updated along the way to ease the worry. Jim’s alternative approach was to go right to the top of the DOR management chain for what I thought was my last gasp attempt or I would just pay for the rest of my life. The follow up phone call I got from Jim was that he had argued successfully that this Lien was not perfected properly and was null and void from this point forward. I was stunned hearing this tremendous news after dealing with this for so many years. There are times when the public needs reach out to professionals who are experts, the go it alone route does not work with these agencies in any capacity. IRS Help and Jim’s expertise are unparalleled in this Industry – not only is he good at his job he is a fine gentleman along the way and a winning combination for anyone needing assistance.
